TOTAL POSSIBLE POINTS:
Every piece of legislation that matters to LSU students was evaluated by the LSU Student Government. Each one of those pieces of legislation were assigned a point value (1-5) depending on its value to LSU.
The final score was determined by adding the total points received by a legislator based on his or her voting record and dividing by the total possible points. That resulted in their percentage performance which was then transferred to a standard grading scale. Fortunately for this year's legislature, we did not implement a plus/minus system.
